If you don’t know yet, Jovian Mandagie is not an ordinary 23 years old designer. In his young age, he gained such a reputation for his clothing line, Jovian Mandagie Malaysia Fashion House, which designs, produces, and retails haute couture dresses. Jovian’s elegant designs has been used by a big numbers of celebrities and socialities – Deborah Henry, Miss Malaysia World 2007, Anita Sarawak, Dato’ Seri Hajjah Siti Nurhaliza, Dato’ Sharifah Aini, Erra Fazira, Linda Onn, Umie Aida, Amber Chia, Maya Karin, Misha Omar, Daphne Iking, Fasha Sandha, Sazzy Falak, Yasmin Hani, Dynaz – and the list goes on.
The enterprising Jovian never loose his versatility. Apart from having his own couture boutique – he also goes online by collaborating with one of the most popular online shopping mall, Zalora Malaysia and selling ready-to-wear dresses. Now, for his latest release, he showed up his wonderful talent by collaborating with Magnum – a popular premium ice cream that symbolizes luxury and pleasure – and crafted the REAL chocolates in his couture dresses!
This Malaysian’s top fashion designer created his first collections made of chocolates, putting a perfect combination of sweet, luxurious magnum chocolate with high fashion taste. Have a look at his romantic gowns that shown up on a delectable runway!
They were made of chocolates… the hoods, dress, accessories, and heels. It was such a stunning fashion show!
“Embellishment” is his trademark – if you can spot the Jovian’s Swarovski in all of his collections. The haute couture dresses were all breathtaking! His amazing workmanship reflects through his swanky, high fashion designs. It’s extremely beautiful in the way he put fringes, ruffles, crystal embellishments, and other ornaments in those luxurious couture dresses.
The uniqueness of culture is what inspired him in most of his collections – elegant and stylish, his first ready-to-wear range named JOVIAN was such a phenomenon. The JRAYA collections was such a debut that made the brand came out as the hot brands to look out for in the Malaysian fashion scene!
Well, the difference between Jovian’s haute couture dresses that shown up in the runways with his ready-to-wear range is, he made the RTW collections more simple yet still keeping up the sense of elegance in the cuttings, materials, and designs.
