XALF is launching their latest in celebration of Hari Raya Adilfitri. Three in fact: the wau inspired trio of Puyuh, Bulan and Merak. Given that the effortless gliding of the traditional Kelantan kites and its intricate floral motif was the original inspiration for the collection, it’s the perfect accessory for festive celebrations.

The main theme for CHIYO’s Cloud Crayon 2014 collection is ‘pop kei’, one of Tokyo’s popular subculture styles. The style is based around cute motifs such as clouds and lightning, which are heavily used in the collection. With geometry being a core concept in the brand’s design, we’ve picked cube-shaped fabric prints and soft denims to compliment the look. Colour palette is a blend of pastels and dark tones.
Blanket stitches are added at the edge of the clothes and accessories to create the pop-cute DIY look. Hair accessories play an important role in the pop kei style. Therefore in this collection, CHIYO has come up with a range of whimsical handmade hair accessories such as oversized head-bows, clouds, shape of a fried egg, pair of eyes, and many more.
For the shoes line, CHIYO has decided to take a break from heels and went with oxford flats that come in mismatched colours. They are not only designed for style but also for comfort with additional arch support insoles.
