One rainy Thursday evening, massive traffic jams , saw yet another Aesop concept store unveiled. It would have been puritanical and clinical looking but instead it became a perfect setting to show off the Aesop’s products. The interplay of neutrals from the Aesop’s products packaging and the strategic island counter was enhanced and the end result, a calm almost embryonic shopping ambience in one of the city’s busiest and biggest mall, Kuala Lumpur Suria (KLCC) for short.
Mr Michael O’Keefe, CEO of Aesop who flew in specially for the KLCC opening, speaking to guests. In the background, the all white metal clad wall gives added dimension as well as an artistic touch as befitting Aesop’s concept.
