Hey Karen, great job on the online directory But every link I click only has clothes from sizes 6-8, and realistically speaking, I’m sure there are tons of other girls who are NOT midgets. Any of the local sites stock bigger size stuff?

This comeback fashion has its fair share of followers and haters! Leggings are everywhere, and it is getting kinda boring already. I mean, of course, you must have one in your wardrobe to put on whenever you feel a little bit too conservative when wearing a short dress! But all we see, is girls wearing black leggings (it IS classic, but a bit over-worn….lol).

Was wondering if you know any tips on how to take care of your white clothes? I just stained mine! OMG! It was a favorite dress of mine. It is not like washed with coloured, but just yellowish stain. So sad…

Our opinion:

One method I have always sworn by is not bleaching my whites. But rather, soak them in cold water and detergent, rinsed and hang them in the heat away from the sun. The reason for not bleaching is because white is actually a color just like any other color and apparently has same number of tone variations like green. Pure cotton is actually a light dirty brown color. And if you don’t hang the whites under the sun , the white colour will not be the yellowish white you see, but a clean pure white. My mother thinks I am crazy, but some friends of mine even go as far as drying their whites in the bathroom totally protected from the sun in order to keep it from turning yellow.

Hello, i’m a huge fan of pumps and covered heels, but the problem is i am a size 3. >.<” Can anyone recommend me shop that sells size 3 pumps which is within a budget of RM 100?

The only place i know that carries size 3 shoes is. . .PEDAL WORKS! They take pride in their ranges of shoes that they carry. From size 3-12:)

According to Debbie who emailed me (Thanks for the info Debbie!), they have now shifted to KLCC from their KL Plaza shop. They also have a shop in Subang Parade. Check them out! I’m not sure if their current collection has pumps and covered heels. You can try paying them a visit:)

They have TONS of stores in Singapore though. If you are desperate for pumps, make a trip down south to visit the shoe shop. I went there once, and omg, i tell you, it is SO MUCH bigger than the ones in Malaysia and there are more collection of shoes there.

Everyone NEEDS a good pair of jeans. It is the matter of how the jeans fits and the quality. But, not everyone has the perfect shaped body that fits the sizes of the jeans

am wondering, where’s the best place to get a really good/nice/affordable pair of jeans. especially with cuts that are flattering since i am pear-shaped… =(

You are not alone! A lot of girls are pear shaped also. I hardly can find jeans myself, as they are usually loose on my waist area (pear Shaped myself) but fits everywhere else. Not to mention that we can’t really wear all types of jeans! It is horrendous i tell you, the dilemma of getting a good jeans. So, i usually opt for hipsters that usually sit on my hips so that i don’t have to deal with the loose waist area. But sometimes, they are super low, which makes it once again, harder to get a proper one (Butt cracks all can be seen, not a proper jeans to buy!). Try getting those which have higher cut at the back area.

Also, usually pear shaped ladies should wear a boot cut/flared bottom to balance out the derrière.  It gives you a slimmer look that balances out with the flare.

Owh, and darker colours helps too!:) (And try not to wear skinny jeans? It’s just not flattering for pear shaped)

Suggestions:

1.  Hipsters/BootCut Jeans
   I would not suggest any, as i myself swear by one favorite jeans from Giordano and also a few from Dorothy Perkins as I am a plus size.
2. Any suggestions from the readers?

I, myself am a size 10/11, i hear your pain. It is very very hard to find shoes! If you are sizes 8 and 9, it is quite easy to find shoes. Most commercial shops have sizes 8 and 9.

Sometimes shops have sizes in their 30’s. Size 40-41 would be size 8-9 and size 42-43 would be size 9-10. Try asking for those sizes when you’re trying for shoes.

Shops like these sell till size 10:

1. Vincci
   (store locater here)
   They have shoes till size 10!:)
2. Nose
   (Located in 1 Utama, and other places)
   They have shoes till size 10!:)
3. Aldo Accessories
   (Bangsar Village, 1Utama, store locater here)
   Till size 39 or 8/9.
4. Shoes, shoes, shoes
   (Located in Bangsar)
   Till size 40.

Hey Dina,

Our best guess would be any Arts and Crafts store. There is one at 1Utama, Petaling Jaya called Crafts Haven. I’m guessing you can get felt cloth from there since they sell everything and anything crafty:) If not, try going to departmental stores like Parkson and look at the arts and crafts section.

   Located in Bangsar is selling pretty laptop skins from www.lamb-lamb.com. It costs about RM49 each. They even have skins for Ipods, Nintendo DS lite, Razr and some other gadgets! (If only they have a skin for PSP)

   Sold online, they have an EXTENSIVE catalogue of skins. I think you will get tired choosing what you want. RM45 each including postage:)

The one place i can think of when it comes to Nu Rave is - SHOW PINK! It is located at Bangsar Telawi Streets.

I’m not sure if they ship to around malaysia, but you can ask them if they do:) They carry a lot of Nu Rave Items
