Meet Gabriena Lee. 20 year old Monash student. We had this love at first sight for her outfit when we saw her at an event. I’ve never been much of a fan of the quirky glasses until I saw hers and how she match it up with her outfit. She bought it from Vincci only to have it powered so it’s useful as also to make a fashion statement. As for her 2 piece outfit, she got it from her very own boutique - Glampot. Her love for the London street is what influencing her dressing style. I’d say GOOOO QUIRKY!
Remember the safe black opaque? Yep. That’s hot. Bright pink, red or even yellow opaque? That’s hotter.
Know what is even hotter now?
Colourful designs opaque tights.

I fell in love at the sight of it. Dare to wear? Be brave and go out wearing it, make a fashion statement! Trust me when I say you’ll be in the limelight. And by the way, remember, have fun at the same time, girls!
Berry is actually the colour of the coming Autumn Winter and this runs the gamut from a cranberry shade right up to blueberries and any other berries in between, but we have singled out our favorite berry colour, purple, and showed ten fabulous ways to wear the it in every imaginable way and fabric. It is a colour that looks really rich and lustrous and makes one feel like , well… royalty …

We spotted Mei Ng, the owner from Stitch Project. We chatted for a bit, and guess what?
Everything she wore, was purchases from online boutiques! How cool is that?! Her giraffe necklace is from Soak Republic. Playsuit is from Oh! Popsicles. The black belt is from Cat Whiskers. Her Croc sling bag is from her very own online boutique, Stitch Project. Last but not least, her awesome gladiators, from Velvet Ribbons. She was a walking advertisment for online sales. Lolz!
Yes, tartans and plaids are back in big way this fall winter. You can wear it any which way you like , it suits all ages . Wear it punklike over short skirts or wear it as a jacket for work (hey , you can wear form 15 to 50 years, if you are cool enough maybe into your 60’s like Vivienne).. either way, you will be the envy of the highlander and every other fashionista.
Vivienne Westwood (punk rock designer) is one designer who found fame with tartan plaids and over the years has glamorize a material design steeped in clannishness and instead spread kinsmenship across the the fashion world with her use of tartan. This season , Dolce and Gabbana reinvented the wheel with tartan plaids coming in the form of cool tartan tights and the once tough tartans materials usually made from wool was given a soft touch in the form of billowy silk dresses… (more…)

Nanette Lepore Lingerie Lace Top from Saks Fifth Avenue
While shopping over the weekend, a friend of mine tried on this lace-ey dress at Nichii and omg, I fell in love with it. It was a halter neck kinda neckline with a body hugging silhouette and it stops right above the knee. At one look, it looks really AWESOME. but owh boy look closer and you can see the bras and panty lines(doesn’t help when it was in bright colours). lols. I guess with proper underwear, the dress would look perfect. It was only RM69.90 and such a steal for that awesome look. Too bad she did not buy it.
I’ve always liked laces on clothes. Not overly tacky ones like what your grandmother wears, but a reasonable amount could make an outfit look uber feminine and yet still sophisticated, stylish and sexy
Seems like come this fall (ok so fall is here already), the lace trend is here (according to Elle and many other gazillion fashion media). Doesn’t have to be only clothes, but lace accessories and shoes too make the cut as a trend this fall

this lace+pearls headband by Jennifer Behr is so pretty!
Did not see any lace lacey stuff yet here at the online world of uber many clothes. Let’s hope to see them bring in lacey stuffÂ

She was browsing through the items at the bazaar when what she wore caught my eye. The combination of the top and the 3-quarter pants gives it a hip-hop laid back street style. Her accessories were paired to a minimal to serve the attitude the look was giving. I love how the white and dark brown color contrast that match her tan skin tone which some of us Malaysians have. Her outfit was all bought from 1 Utama Shopping Centre, one of our favorite shopping haven! Â
Last weekend, at Chics Closet Bazaar held at BSC, we did some style scouting and my, my, KL people are definitely looking good on the streets! See for yourselves!

Yes you read it right. Dress to shop that is. With all these bazaars and sales going on, who’s staying home? Not me! Who wants to look all pretty while doing their thing? Definitely me!! So you planned your destination, be it shopping malls or fashion boutiques, either way, you need to run to a few (at least lah!) shops to get the bargain goods you need/want. (Oh, btw, when it comes to shopping, needs and wants are the same, don’t cha think so? lolz!)
Instead of ruining your shopping day, the main key to have a great one is to DRESS COMFORTABLY! leave those 4inches heels to kill at events or a great girl’s night out. See some usefulness instead of pure fashion of wearing gladiators now?
Okay, well the whole point is, wear something comfortable. Something that is easy to take off and put it on again. Guess what? Slip ons dress are the best for this shopping occassion! Yet of course, you’d still wanna look awesomely good in it. See how comfy yet so much in style you can be?

Due to our hot and warm weather here in Malaysia, dressing in body hugging tops or the jeans-that-clings-to-your-legs just may end your shopping trip early (Read : missing out on great bargains and then regret about it). Sometimes, the dressing rooms are filled with the long queues that it just turns you off, yet, you don’t wanna let go of the to-die-for bargain items. What do you do? That’s where slip on dress comes to the rescue! Stand in front of a mirror, if you can’t find one, get a friend for help. Just try on the shorts or slip over the top you have chosen there and then! But please be careful, you don’t want to be thrown out by the security for indecent exposure. (more…)

yes, we tried to sell jewelry. so fail. Let’s just stick to reporting the event and leave the selling to the experts, ya?

Over the weekend, there were so many bazaars around. We couldn’t cover all, but we did go to Chics Closet at WIP Bangsar Shopping Centre. Chics Closet was awesome. It was from 11am till 6pm. The day started out slow. . . but eventually later in the day, everyone came in slowly, but surely.

On other news:
So, I love wearing bare backs and low cuts. The problem is that I always always don’t have the proper bra to make sure the top looks awesome. Its always like too ugly as the bra can be seen. So i’ve tried everything. From Freebras to nipple stickers and the new invisibra just to see which one works better:) We all just want to wear the cute dress without looking too slutty right?
Today I will compare and contrast these three so called “strapless look ma no straps bras”.Â

Nipple stickers from Fashion Junkee
The first and most common type of “look ma, no straps” would be nipple stickers. It usually comes in cute petal shaped ones. The ones i’ve tried are round ones. Its function is simple. To cover the nipple when wearing a clothes that are too tight or revealing. The main point is to cover the nipples so that when in ahem, cold places, it won’t be seen sticking out. There are many types of nipple stickers, from the ones which are stuck all over to the ones that are not sticky in the middle where the nipples are. I prefer the latter one because there will be less pain when peeling it off.Â
Pros: Lightweight, no visible “bra” lines
Cons: No perky breasts!
Where to get nipple stickers in Malaysia?Â
Sasa (1U, KLCC, Mid Valley etc), Watsons, and other beauty stores.

When this shop first started selling Freebras, I was so amazed! Like, finally I can wear the tube top with perky and not sagging boobs! So, I bought it, after much inspection of it at Sasa, I bought it online at this shop. I got the package from Pos Laju and whoa, was so excited to wear it. I tried it on and my breasts actually had cleavage without wearing a full supportive bra! So amazing right? It sticks to the breasts. I wore it once to a wedding at a temple and hoo-boy what a mistake that was. Let’s just say I couldn’t wear it again, it won’t stick. But, if you’d likea BIG push up, wear it inside your bra, fits like a silicon. Just try not to sweat in it lah. Other than that, I love how it gives the push!
Pros: Cleavage overload
Cons: Can’t be worn to go out to party. Basically it can’t take sweat.Â

LaydeeStuff and Sasa (1U, KLCC, Mid Valley etc)

Okay, so before i saw invisibra, I never thought I could get the best of nipple stickers and get the lift of freebras. This invisibra is a sticker thing which sticks on to your breasts in the most natural way so that you will get perky boobs! It is not only lightweight, but also quite transparent which makes it look like its not there.Â
Pros: Sweat Proof, lightweight, perky breasts, with cleavage too:), water resistant, allergy proof.Â
Cons: Nipple stickers which sticks on the whole nipple. A bit pain when peeling off.Â
