Meet Gabriena Lee. 20 year old Monash student. We had this love at first sight for her outfit when we saw her at an event. I’ve never been much of a fan of the quirky glasses until I saw hers and how she match it up with her outfit. She bought it from Vincci only to have it powered so it’s useful as also to make a fashion statement. As for her 2 piece outfit, she got it from her very own boutique - Glampot. Her love for the London street is what influencing her dressing style. I’d say GOOOO QUIRKY!
Berry is actually the colour of the coming Autumn Winter and this runs the gamut from a cranberry shade right up to blueberries and any other berries in between, but we have singled out our favorite berry colour, purple, and showed ten fabulous ways to wear the it in every imaginable way and fabric. It is a colour that looks really rich and lustrous and makes one feel like , well… royalty …

We spotted Mei Ng, the owner from Stitch Project. We chatted for a bit, and guess what?
Everything she wore, was purchases from online boutiques! How cool is that?! Her giraffe necklace is from Soak Republic. Playsuit is from Oh! Popsicles. The black belt is from Cat Whiskers. Her Croc sling bag is from her very own online boutique, Stitch Project. Last but not least, her awesome gladiators, from Velvet Ribbons. She was a walking advertisment for online sales. Lolz!
Yes, tartans and plaids are back in big way this fall winter. You can wear it any which way you like , it suits all ages . Wear it punklike over short skirts or wear it as a jacket for work (hey , you can wear form 15 to 50 years, if you are cool enough maybe into your 60’s like Vivienne).. either way, you will be the envy of the highlander and every other fashionista.
Vivienne Westwood (punk rock designer) is one designer who found fame with tartan plaids and over the years has glamorize a material design steeped in clannishness and instead spread kinsmenship across the the fashion world with her use of tartan. This season , Dolce and Gabbana reinvented the wheel with tartan plaids coming in the form of cool tartan tights and the once tough tartans materials usually made from wool was given a soft touch in the form of billowy silk dresses… (more…)

Nanette Lepore Lingerie Lace Top from Saks Fifth Avenue
While shopping over the weekend, a friend of mine tried on this lace-ey dress at Nichii and omg, I fell in love with it. It was a halter neck kinda neckline with a body hugging silhouette and it stops right above the knee. At one look, it looks really AWESOME. but owh boy look closer and you can see the bras and panty lines(doesn’t help when it was in bright colours). lols. I guess with proper underwear, the dress would look perfect. It was only RM69.90 and such a steal for that awesome look. Too bad she did not buy it.
I’ve always liked laces on clothes. Not overly tacky ones like what your grandmother wears, but a reasonable amount could make an outfit look uber feminine and yet still sophisticated, stylish and sexy
Seems like come this fall (ok so fall is here already), the lace trend is here (according to Elle and many other gazillion fashion media). Doesn’t have to be only clothes, but lace accessories and shoes too make the cut as a trend this fall

this lace+pearls headband by Jennifer Behr is so pretty!
Did not see any lace lacey stuff yet here at the online world of uber many clothes. Let’s hope to see them bring in lacey stuff
More images below the cut!:) (more…)
She was browsing through the items at the bazaar when what she wore caught my eye. The combination of the top and the 3-quarter pants gives it a hip-hop laid back street style. Her accessories were paired to a minimal to serve the attitude the look was giving. I love how the white and dark brown color contrast that match her tan skin tone which some of us Malaysians have. Her outfit was all bought from 1 Utama Shopping Centre, one of our favorite shopping haven!
Got this in my email. Just wanted to share with everyone!

Have you ever seen men who wear long nails on their pinkies because it purportedly helps be rich if a pinkie is long?
The Empress Dowager wore nail accessories that were made of gold and about 6inches long…of course that is not so functional unless like her you have someone to help dress and feed you and other personal amenities all the time. But fear not for all you who believe in accessorizing your nails, check out this store, Bijules and their range of pinkie nail rings and nail accessories….

They look kind of pretty don’t they, but I would imagine also cumbersome like a chastity belt of sorts… still one must always try to differentiate, hey maybe that’s why the Dowager was the Dowager, cos she had those long artificial nail accessories. Give it a shot :-)lols. Bijules in located in New York, but they do ship internationally too Asian market.

Over the weekend, there were so many bazaars around. We couldn’t cover all, but we did go to Chics Closet at WIP Bangsar Shopping Centre. Chics Closet was awesome. It was from 11am till 6pm. The day started out slow. . . but eventually later in the day, everyone came in slowly, but surely.

Emmagem’s Comments:
Ana , we love her cool red tights and the heart pendant …The whole ensemble was made chic and stylish with the right splash of colour , it was well thought out and contains all the element of the lastest look like tulip skirt , yet it has a certain classic feel to it. It certainly makes her one stylish lecturer (yes she is a lecturer). We knew she would be the winner at first sight!-yetmee

Grey Tank Top - Cotton On
Brown Leather Suspenders - Small Unnamed Shop
Black Pants - MNG

What’s her style?
“I love early 20th century outfits, and the class that they bring. Clean cuts and lots of white and black with minimal colour. Other than that, I’m usually quite casual. I’m a huge fan of denim, and anything unique and eccentric. I love earthen tones and natural fibers. I like seeing skater-surfer influences in clothing as well, I guess it only makes sense since I’ve lived near a beach all my life. To narrow it down, I guess I often alternate between clean-and-classy styles, mildly boho themes or just being a beach bum. Sometimes it finds it’s way altogether, though…When it comes to style, I think - Casual, Comfort, and Quirky. Biggest Weaknesses : Bags, Sweaters, Flip-Flops and Sneakers.” Nicole
Emmagem’s Comments:
Nicole’s attitude with her boyish ensemble was refreshing and captivating. The whole outfit was playful and yet sensuous , playing up her femininity!…very in trend…-yetmee

Li Ling’s outfit at one glance was simple , but a study of the way she matched all the accessories and glamorise the simple knit dress was interesting. I was walking around Hartamas Shopping Center on a lazy friday afternoon and found a quint little shop located at a corner with some pretty awesome clothes. The shop is called Eve and according to the shop owner, Nicole, Eve designs her own clothes. Little did I know, Eve Yong has been around for quite some time now and has outlets all over Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia. Her 2008 Collections presents much geometrical designs and florals.
Dresses are pretty and affordable too. From RM100 onwards, you can get Maxi Dresses, Tube Dresses and much more. Besides her 2008 collection, the shop too sells other clothings like shoes, shorts and other accessories that would complete a whole look. They have sizes S, M and L. Clothes at Eve are really feminine but with a certain edge that will make you unique:) Eve has been known for being “the meastro of feminine fashion”.
Eve The name stands for ultra feminine design, yet with unmistakably modern approach. Initiated by Miss Eve Yong in the year 1983, Eve - a brand which understand every woman’s desire, came into being. After years of acquiring the exquisite art of dressmaking skills from a master Shanghainese tailor and later in Paris School of Fashion Design, Eve Yong is ready to set out and make her dream comes true. Unlike most designers, EVE understand that elegance is about refusal, yet without losing an ounce of creativity. The charms of the EVE’s talent lies on her knowledge of a woman’s body and “the cut” with carefully placed details. Eve collection suggest intelligence and grace, usually executed in modern flattering materials.

Tubes, florals, blocks, are what’s new at Eve
