Perfect Cover Thanks to Missha!
By: lavenderIt was a wonderful day when Missha came to Malaysia with their first outlet in the Curve, Mutiara Damansara. Why? Simply because they brought with them one of the most raved about products ever- the Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream!
For those of you who don’t know, BB Cream stands for Blemish Balm Cream. First used in Germany to heal and conceal the scars of laser surgery patients, the commercial version of this product is now a must-have for every Asian woman! What’s more, Its popularity is quickly spreading to Europe and the US, too!
So what’s so amazing about it? Basically it combines the benefits of a skin care product as well as a make up product. It moisturizes, has UV protection, whitens the skin, heals acne scars and has anti-aging properties. It is also tinted to provide natural coverage and giveyour skin a lovely dewy look.
Missha’s M Perfect Cover BB Cream is undoubtedly one of the most well known BB creams around. Packaged in a classy maroon tube with a pump, it contains 70ml of product at the price of RM 79.90. I don’t think anyone could possibly complain about the packaging for this product. It is practical, lightweight and easy to use!

The cream itself is very thick and smooth. One pump is sufficient to cover your entire face and neck! It spreads easily and provides a much better coverage than any other BB cream I’ve ever used. I love the salmon undertone which works great in concealing under-eye circles and blemishes!
I’ve also found that, after a few weeks of use, my freckles and acne scars have lightened considerably. Evidently, it does everything it’s supposed to without clogging pores and causing break-outs the way most foundations do. A little tip you must know: do not cake it on! As this is a moisturizer, if you pile on a massive amount the way some do with foundation, your face in bound to get oily and break out!

Another thing to note is that it only comes in 2 shades- No.21 (bright beige) and No.23 (natural beige). Which means it’s generally for fair skinned people. The limited choice in shades is definitely a downfall in Korean cosmetics. You could, of course, mix some liquid bronzer in. I have been experimenting with Talk to the Tan by Benefit and thus far, the combination has been great!

Aside from that, the only other thing I could complain about this product is the finishing. Though it gives you a nice shine, this can quickly turn oily. You absolutely HAVE to set this cream with a loose powder for a matte finish and to keep it firmly in place throughout the day.
All in all, a great product. I’ve been using it daily in place of foundation. It provides good coverage and it’s much better for the skin! I’m absolutely loving this BB Cream and would definitely recommend this to all the readers out there.
