Made popular by twin fashion moguls Mary Kate and Ashley, the bohemian-chic look has hit the fashion world by storm and seems to be here to stay. Gone are the days when sleek and groomed was the only way to go. Now, stepping out of the house in oversized clothes and crazy, uncombed hair would not be a fashion faux pas but a fashion statement instead! This is certainly great news for girls like me who value comfort above all else!
If you’re looking to create your very own boho-chic look, here are a few tips!

1. Neutral colors are your safest bets
While black or other bright colors may make attractive additions, the basis of the bohemian style are still your everyday neutrals such as grey, beige, brown, off-whites and my personal favorite, pale pink! These colors are soft, sweet and feminine, perfect for your bohemian outfit.

2. Frumpy is fashionable.
Another thing to remember in boho styling is that neat fitting and perfect cuts pretty much go out the window. The boho look isn’t about anything that clings to your curves. It’s about falling shoulders and draping fabric. Sexy in a more subtle way!

3. Old is gold.
Aside from that, you also have to remember that with boho, the older your clothes look, the more chic you look. Boho is all about the faded, worn out and artistically ripped!

4. Braids, braids and more braids.
Finally, finish off your look with the ever-popular bohemian braid. You could opt for a braided hair band, braided belt or even gorgeous bags with braided straps!
The great thing about the bohemian look is that it’s hard to go horribly wrong with it. It’s also very versatile and wearable on a daily basis. Just follow these simple little tips for a super comfy, effortlessly chic look, Sienna Miller style!
