OK, so last week, I did a review on the Maybelline mascara featuring the Hello Kitty theme for all you mascara loving girls like me out there. This week, I’ve got another mascara review for you guys, because hey, when you love mascara you can never get too much of it right?

This week, the mascara that is going under scrutiny is the Laneige Multi Function Mascara. So with a name like “multi purpose”, naturally one would expect that the mascara can probably perform a few different functions – curling, lengthening, thickening etc – all in one right? All you need is one mascara to do the job of several? But to be perfectly honest, I thought that this one just worked like a normal mascara to me. There was nothing really outstanding that would make you say “Oh wow! I gotta go back and get that again!” 

Other than the fact that I failed to see the multi purpose aspect of this mascara, I would have to say it is not too bad. You can apply it easily enough on your eyelashes, and it doesn’t leave clumps on them that you have to tediously dig out, thank goodness!

This product is suppose to be resistant and waterproof so it doesn’t leave smudges, and I agree that it did do a good job in that sense. I hate mascaras that smudge after a few hours and leave you looking like you’ve been punched in the eye. The brands that do that get crossed off my list, but good job Laneige, because your mascara doesn’t smudge. And it did last me the whole day when I used it, so that’s another plus point for it.

I would suggest you maybe apply two coats of this product on your eyelashes if you want to achieve a better effect. My overall verdict? I would say that this product is not too bad.
