Celio Pavillion Launch
By: hannefThe French brand, Celio celebrated the opening of its first store in Malaysia last week with a launch party at Pavilion shopping malls. The store is currently the largest in Asia and carries all three sub-brands of the line namely Celio* Club, Celio* Casual and Celio’s Sportwear.
The event was attended by mostly men who want to catch a glimpse of what this French- based brand got to offer. Celio is well-known for the bright red asterisk that has been the trademark of the brand. Even the theme of the party itself was red. And it was great to see how most of the attendees put a lot of efforts in looking good in red when red honestly can be quite difficult to carry.
But the fashion show during the event was not only about the color red. The male models were all sporting looks from Celio’s latest collection in various trends and colors. Although there’s nothing overtly trendy or over the top on display, Celio made its statement by presenting pieces that are very well-made and can stand the test of time and seasons. This is for the fact that men have been shoved into the whole leather jackets and skinny jeans trend that they started to forget how good clothing is not only about rocking the latest fad in fashion but also about comfort and timeless pieces.
So at the event hosted by model/ TV personality Hansen Lee, the fashion show started with two female models looking very seductive and strangely cozy in t-shirts and boxer shorts before the boys took the stage. The first part of the show was all about summer shorts, tshirts and flip-flops. After that the models started to show up in jackets, jeans, bright knitted sweaters and oh-so-chic vests. Everything looks very well-styled and perfectly coordinated.

The final part of the fashion show was formal attire when the models were all looking very professional in their suits and ties. The detailing on the button front shirts are very intricate, for instance the double-button, visible bright stitching and dark-colored panels. The suits are to die for and cut razor-sharp with narrow waist and strong shoulder. As for the pants, they are ‘comfortably- fit’, tight but not the bend-and-the-seams-will-bust kind of tight.

Celio is definitely a brand that knows men inside out and sticks to the five values that define them which are Innovation, Seduction, Customer, Profitability and Conquest.
