DIPLOMA IN HAIRDRESSING MANAGEMENT

(1 + 1 Year Apprenticeship)

BASIC QUALIFYING CRITERIA:
Qualification  :   Minimum SPM with 3 credits inclusive of 1 language credit

Language Proficiency  :   Above average in English & Bahasa Malaysia (additional advantage of Chinese speaking)

Appearance: Fashionista

Age :  18 to 25 years of age

Career Pathway:   Apprentice – Employee- Business Partner- Entrepreneur

THE MECHANICS:
“Tell us why YOU deserve this Scholarship?”
a)      This contest will end on 11.59pm, 31st July 2010
b)      Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted on the 1st week of August 2010.
c)      Scholarship Awards will be given out at the closing ceremony of MOFEW 2010

PROCEDURES:
Contestants will have to submit a 3-5 minute video of themselves indicating: in the most CREATIVE & CONVINCING way possible of: Why are you interested in hairdressing and do you have what it takes to be a successful hairdresser

Videos should be submitted directly to the MOFEW Facebook Fanpage
Note: Videos will be closely monitored just in case it contains inappropriate materials / gestures (e.g. obscenity / profanity / etc)

Videos will be reviewed by Snips and Snips will shortlist ”X” number of contestants to be interviewed

Shortlisted candidates will be contacted via Facebook and announced on MOFEW’s Official Website
