Men are not generally the most outspoken species when it comes to love and romance. We’ve all sighed countless times in front of the TV when we’ve watched a hero romantically declare his love for a woman and often wished our guy could be as romantic as that all the time.

 

But the truth is, men are not all about the lovey-dovey, mushy stuff. While us girls like to talk about our feelings and express ourselves vocally all the time, men in a bit more prodding – or rather pushing – before you can get anything out of them that is more than a grunt.

He messages you throughout the day, everyday: Whenever you’re not together, he’s constantly staying in touch with you, either through SMS or phone calls. If he messages you in the morning, right up to the time he goes to bed even when he is busy, you’ll know he’s thinking about you and if you’re always on his mind, it’s a good sign already. 

 

 

He confides in you about everything: Whenever something happens in his life, you’re the person he turns to to confide in. He opens up about everything to you and feels comfortable sharing his most personal stuff even.

 

He’s got no issue introducing you to his family: Now this is a big one. No guy in his right mind will tell his family about a girl he isn’t even remotely serious about. Why give the parents a heart attack with the number of good time flings he has had? If you’re guy has no problem with you meeting his parents, or better yet wants you to meet his parents, you know he’s in it for real.

 

He makes an effort with your friends: A guy who is serious about you will want to get along with your friends. Remember the Spice Girls song: If you wanna be my lover, you gotta get with my friends? How true that is! A guy who is serious will know how important it is to get your friends to like him and if he’s in it for the long haul, he’ll make every effort to get on their good side.

 

He stands by you: A sure sign of knowing whether a guy loves you for real is when he stands by you through thick and thin. When you have your ups and downs, moods swings and PMS moments, bad times or good times, he’s always there by your side supporting you and comforting you when you need it most.
