Okay, I’ve got a confession to make – I’m one of those OC types…totally addicted to Post-it notes. Yup, that’s me – a huge fan of those canary yellow sticky note papers. The best part is that they’re now available in a whole variety of bright colours! My fave being the pink ones of course.
Spence Silver or Art Fry were the inventors of the widely acclaimed 3M Post-it® Notes, and boy do I have to thank them for this amazing creation! If you didn’t know, the Post-it® Note happens to be one of the most universally applauded new office products of the 20th century.
Everyone uses them and I’ve seen them stuck everywhere from walls to desktops and refrigerators. Personally, these handy sticky notes have made my life a whole lot easier – during my school days right up till now, in the office and even at home too. Oh and remember when Carrie got dumped by Berger with a Post-it? Uh-huh, we told you there are so many uses for them!
Just recently, a totally new and totally interesting type of Post-it has made its debut online. Created by an usually named British design company called SUCK UK , these Origami Sticky Notes “is a little something for those dull moments at the office. Recycle your old sticky notes and turn them in to fun 3D models! Each pad has instructions for 10 different shapes, including: pig; penguin; boat; crane; butterfly; squirrel; lily and water bomb. For beginners or advanced paper folders!”
If you haven’t jumped on the recycling bandwagon yet, this would be a great chance for you to do so. You can now recycle your old sticky notes and fold them into 3-D paper models. Talk about innovatively designed customized sticky notes…I wonder what else would come up next! SUCK UK’s origami post-it note pads are available in classic pale yellow colour.Get them online from SUCK UK for £2.00 (about $4.00) per pad. Each pad has printed instructions on each sheet for 10 different origami shapes. Looks like I’ll be turning my work desk into an artsy treasure trove with one-of-a-kind yellow origami!
