So summer is not only the season for ladies to look good in their bikinis, printed dresses and fun accessories. Men can also have a little bit of fun with their outfits. A little bit of color and playing around with accessories can perhaps transform your man from Jon Gosselin to Jon Hamm.

It’s only natural that summer is all about being outdoor, basking under the sunlight, hanging out at the pool and all things colorful and fun. Unlike winter when everything is so muted and dull, summer is the perfect opportunity to spice up the look with colors. Not all men can rock the same neon green jeans or red floral shirt, so the best bet is to accessorize with color-popping accessories.

Pocket squares have slowly made its way back into fashion. They look great with all kinds of shirt. Although, stuffing them into polo shirt’s pocket might not be recommended, they are no longer restricted to tuxedos anymore. Get one for your boyfriend in bright color for summer. It will look good in the pocket of  their lightweight khaki suit.

Mens clutch

Some men hate to use the ‘C-word’ because they are just some leather binders or strapless bags to them. Maybe it would help if you mention how Christiano Ronaldo has been carrying one by Gucci and Louis Vuitton around town. But mens clutch is great for carrying never-leave-home-without items like keys, mobile, sunscreen, i-Pod or even a reading material to read at the park under the sun. There is seriously nothing to be ashamed of.

Summer scarves

Summer scarves help keep the understated t-shirts and jeans ensemble stylish without sacrificing the comfort. Kaffiyeh is the thing in the past, so find your man something patterned and in light-weight fabric.

So now both of you can hit the park and be the most stylish couple there without a doubt! Just don’t forget the sunscreen.
