The one must-have summer essential on my list has got to be…shorts. Our perpetually summer weather all year long makes this garment my love ‘em and can’t live without them piece! Really, it’s not about me showing off my legs, but so much more than that – shorts guarantee that I’d feel comfortable…all day long. With a great pair of shorts on, I can jump around in them, walk around with ease and take the escalator up – without having to worry about who’s trying to look up my skirt!

Just recently, Whitney Port told glamour.com: “This season I can’t live without a great pair of shorts. Shorts are so versatile; pair them with heels and a blazer for a night out, or wear them with a comfortable pair of ballet flats. Either way, you will look chic and can wear them tons of different ways. I have a great pair of shorts in the Whitney Eve collection that I wear all the time.” The “City” babe certainly got that right – you get to dress up or dress down and still feel comfy all the way.
