Many years ago, I remember my beloved aunt toting around a Prada handbag. It was a classic black design, made from its famous nylon material with the distinct silver signature logo. It was my first ‘up close and personal’ experience with a designer bag and I vowed to get myself a Prada goodie when I could afford one.

 I obviously still haven’t managed to save up for a luxury item just yet… but the minute I laid my eyes on the latest collection, it was kind of like falling in love all over again with the chic Italian brand. Formerly known as the “master of minimalism”, this time around the designs boasts a really pretty range of beautiful prints. And all you floral print lovers, you’ll be glad to know that there are some awesome flourishing floral prints too!

Inspired by a single outfit in the 1950s and then redesigned in a series of diverse fabrics, expect a stunning array of dresses, shoes and bags -all adorned with beautiful vintage-y prints. The cotton and silk materials used would feel amazing against the skin – which also makes them just perfect for the summer heat.

The nipped-in-at-the-waist dresses totally screams out Stepford Wives. And guess what? You can even get yourself matching handbags and shoes too. The embroidered silk faille shoulder bags are strikingly colourful and come with their signature chain handle (LOVE!), while the dainty ballerina pumps look super-comfy with appliquéd ribbons to boot. Too cute! Girly girl types are sure to love this collection and since almost everyone is going floral recently, I bet these Prada prints will leave many misses lusting after…
