Truthfully, I’ve always had a streak of bad luck when it comes to tech gadgets. No matter how well I’ve tried to take care of them, those stuff just seem to die on me after a short period of time. And therefore, as essential as my mobile is to me, I’ve never found the need to purchase those super high-tech types. Lately, almost EVERYONE has been clamouring to get the iphone or BlackBerry. I, on the other hand am still trying to decide if I should jump on the bandwagon too.However, the minute I laid my eyes on this Dial Phone, designed by Jung Dae Hoon – I just knew it would be the most perfect phone for me. This gadget truly serves double duty – a fashion accessory and mobile phone too. I mean seriously, which fashionista would ever say ‘no’ to such a fantastic creation?!

Just look at its circular design…doesn’t it bring back memories of old-fashioned dial phones? Talk about a fabulous combination of cutting-edge technology with a touch of retro! Not only can it be crafted using the metal of the owner’s choice, there’s also a gorgeous variety of interchangeable skins that can take you from elegant to sporty in a blink of an eye. Walk out of your home with a chic-looking bangle on your wrist. When you want to make a call, place it on a flat surface (or on the palm of your hand), then select the number by touching the upper-dial sensor with your fingertips. Psst… don’t fret, a built-in LCD screen will keep you on track.

Sure, this dial phone looks trendy and would  be an accessory Du Jour, but how well it cab function as a mobile phone is another story all together *fingers crossed*. Nonetheless, as a fashion-gadget lover I would definitely rate it five out of five stars! Excuse me while I saunter off to dream about my very own Dial Phone.
