He likes me? He likes me not? How do I be sure if he is interested? Am I reading too much into the signs? Maybe I should ask my girl friends and see what they think? If you have asked these questions before, you are not alone, because it is just some of the many questions we girls ask when it comes to guys.

Sometimes you are just burning with curiosity to know if the guy likes you, but you still have your doubts. Unless you march right up to him and ask him outright, there will be no way for you know for sure unless he tells you himself.

So how do you tell if a guy is interested in you? What are the subtle or not-so-subtle hints that men give off when they have found someone they are interested in?

When you get right down to it, it is not that hard to determine if the guy you have your eye on is interested in you too. You can tell if he is interested by the way he behaves, especially with these five dead giveaways:

1. He looks at you whenever he can – if you catch him looking at you every opportunity he gets, then you know that he is interested in you. This may seem like an old school basic, but men have not changed all that much in their behaviour patterns when it comes to showing signs that he is interested. Nor have we for that matter.  Let’s face it, if you like a guy, you would be looking at him every opportunity you get too right? If you like the guy too, then the next time you catch him looking at you, flash him a friendly smile and watch his reaction.

2. He finds opportunities to talk to you and hang out with you – if a guy is interested in you, he will do everything that he can to get to know you better. You’ll find that he’ll come and talk to you every chance that he gets, and if you have mutual friends, he’ll jump at the chance to come and hang out as a group especially if he knows you are coming along. Even if the place you are going to be might be out of his way, if he likes you enough, he’ll find a way to be there.

3. He does favours for you – if a guy is interested in you and in getting to know you better, he will go out of his way to do favours for you and help you out whenever he can. The minute he knows you help with something, he will jump at the opportunity to help you out if it means getting into your good books and getting you to notice him too.

4 . Watch his body language – body language is a dead giveaway of how some one feels about you. A guy who is interested in you will look open, welcoming, friendly, make eye-contact with you, and stand as close to you as he can without invading your personal space. When you talk, he leans in towards you and looks alert and interested in what you are saying. He’ll also look directly into your eyes and smiles a lot during your conversation.

5.  He always looks his best in front of you – a guy who is interested in you will always make sure he looks his best whenever you are around. He’ll make sure his clothes look good and his hair looks groomed, and that he looks presentable if he knows you are going to be there.  Nobody wants to look like a slob in front of the person they are trying to impress.

If the guy you have your eye on is doing all of these things, then you can be sure that he is definitely interested in you.

It is pretty much the same thing we girls would do when we like someone too. We make sure we look our best, our body language is open and friendly towards him, and we look at him all the time.

Guess men and women are not that different after all when it comes to giving off hints about the person we like.
