Yup, Christmas is two days away, and you have probably rolled out your party gear, all steam rolled and press and ready to rock and roll. But wait a minute somethings you just can’t steamroll away no matter how you huff and puff; like blemish marks and  that all night party eyebag. So what’s a girl to do, these days make up can really do wonders. I wrote about the Yves St Laurent Rouge Eclat before and I still use it for my emergency quick fixes for events and stuffs. Lately I encountered some more quick fixes that does a great cover up and doesn’t look like you have are buried deep in 2 inches of make up.

First up for me is the Nobara Stick by She Uemura. This stick is so versatile that you can use it to cover blemishes and also to  shape and contour your face like your eye brow bone, your cheekbone and jawline. It is minimal in effort because one stick does it all. A darker shape obviously works better as a shaper whilst a lighter one  is for enhancing and coverage.

As you know, no make up is complete without a good dusting of a fine face powder. And Givenchy Prisme Libre cube with four different  shades of  powder as finishing touch. The four different shades help to correct the skin tone and even the skin tone. The powder is very fine and light, definitely  helps to set the make up.  

Next up, for some quick spot correction , I also explored Mister Light by Givenchy, they have six shades and it has  a pink undertone.

Now for concealer, Shue Uemura’s White Recovery EX Spot Brightener  is also worth exploring as it has some mild sunblock effect for day or night use. However this one is best for light marks and fairer skin. It is less thick and coverage is minimal. It is great for fresh pimple spots as it reduces the redness and protects from UV damage.

And after all that thick make up and heavy partying, make sure you give the skin a break nightly after all the party season could drag on a  full two weeks  by cleansing nightly.My current choice is  with the Shu Uumura Skin Purifier. This is a high performance cleansing oil with advanced formula. Itne has a gentle geranium scent that is guratanted to give a relaxing cleansing experience as well as a restful night. Like all Shu Uemura’s cleansing oil, emulsification is the trick.  Do at least five emulsifications and skin is left tingling fresh and  no oily after feel.

And there you have  it….party on safely girls.
