“1 Litre Challenge” campaign, winner Mr. Ho Chee Ming (27), who clocked in 21.38km using only 1 litre of Shell FuelSave Unleaded petrol. This Campaign further complements the recent introduction of Shell’s most advanced fuel economy formula, the Shell FuelSave Unleaded petrol, formulated to help motorists save up to one litre with every full tank*. Winner Mr Ho , who won RM3,000 cash and going for second leg to win RM5,000 cash.
*Based on a minimum tank size and fill up of 50 litres. Comparison between standard gasoline with and without fuel economy formula. Actual savings may vary according to vehicle, driving conditions and driving style.
When I first bought my trustee Honda City, I bought it because I wanted to get the RM0.10 per kilometre cost savings taht Honda City’s are famed for…but my best is still RM0.15 per kilometer and that I attribute to the fact that I tend to drive in cough and spurts around the city. And fuel savings is such a male conversation most girlsI think are not that concerned and trust me , neither was I until I got into a conversation with my yound cousin about cars and fuel, suddelnly I got to stick my neck out and answer soem sticky questiosn about my car, the pick up time , the fuel savings and whenever I failedto give him a satisfactory ie male standard answer he would give me a strange look, like wow, should you be allowed on the street kinda look.
So I have since realised, know your car and you could get into the good books of more than one cute guy, but that should not be the reason of course. In this day and age, our lives come to an almost standstill if you are not driving. But driving can be an expensive experience. First, if you are a new driver and do not know how to drive in an efficient way that makes the engine run smoothly can help you save on fuel; secondly the type of car that you drive and thirdly, the type of fuel that you use, because different fuels have different additives and therefore actually helps in fuel burning efficiency.
