Take your pick from delicious mangoes and peaches to bright tangerines and oranges; even creamy pumpkin soups and soft rockmelon! Don’t be afraid to come across looking like a Buddhist Monk! Of course this bold, splash of colour will make you stand out in a crowd, what’d you expect? Not only does it help to inject a blast of enthusiasm to lift up your spirits, it also makes you appear to be friendly and approachable. That’s exactly why this shade is simply perfect to wear to casual social events, drawing people near to you!

Anne Hathaway cleverly paired up her ruffled satin tube dress with a classic black clutch and matching peep-toe heels.

Another fan of ruffles, Kristin Bell is decked out in a neon orange one-shoulder dress, teamed up with strappy, metallic gold heels. She keeps her accessories to a minimal; with a cocktail ring that graces her finger.

This stunner sure knows how to show-off her best assets! Renee Zellweger bared her long limbs in this super-short, metallic printed Carolina Herrera number!

Cheryl Cole wears an eye-catching bandage dress and throws on a little black shrug. Her leopard-print Jimmy Choo tote certainly makes her outfit pop! Her sky-scrapper heels to match the dress. She adds some tiered gold bangles and doesn’t leave home without her oversized sunnies!

Looking totally chic and sophisticated, Whitney Port dazzled them all in her paisley printed satin dress that’s turtle-necked and long sleeved.

Fashion designer Rachel Roy picks out a  light-orange tweed jacket. She mixes her look up a little with a pair of ripped jeans and adds on the glam with bejewelled T-bar heels and a silver sequined clutch.

The LBD never goes out of style! Lily Allen adds a vintage-looking, bold orange jacket; black tote and complementary pumps to her ensemble. The quirky Smiley Face necklace is from her very own Lily Allen Jewellery collection!

Michelle Williams plays up her vintage glam look in this orange and black satin patterned dress with a stunning structured neckline and roomy-shaped bottom.

As they always say, you can never go wrong in jeans and a great pair of boots! Anna Friel tucks in her orange and green, multi-coloured checked shirt into her dark-washed skinnies.

Kate Moss doesn’t look like Kate Moss at all in this outfit! She wears a fitted grey dress from Carolina Herrera and adds a punch of orange with a Hermès Birkin bag. Nude pumps dress up her feet and she adds a signature piece to her outfit; Ray Ban aviators!

Bonnie Wright keeps it simple yet elegant in this v-necked LBD from Prada. Her striking red lipstick shows off her milky complexion and she also goes for an attention-grabbing pair of orange, strappy Prada shoes!

How to wear orange:

Do remember that because this is a fun and frivolous colour, you need to stay away from wearing this hue to serious, formal events such as an important decision-making meeting. No one will take you seriously!

If you are tanned or olive-skinned, you can go for brights! However, those with paler complexions should opt for creamier and lighter shades as this will help to add warmth to your appearance.

Want to go for a classy and sophisticated look? Then try not to go orange.

For a dash of playfulness, go for a bold orange bag, sexy bright heels or even some interesting jewellery.

As always, bright colours work well when paired up with muted tones. Sure black, white and nude shades would look great. Why not be different and experiment with electric blues, chocolate browns and charcoal grays?
