I’ve always wondered why do I always get pimples on my nose. Its like, every time I get my period, my hormones surge up and there will always be one or two pimple on my face. The thing is, it always appears on my nose, recently.

The thing is, I rarely get pimples since I was young, but recently, it has been so frequent. It got me worried. So I went researching, on why oh why my nose was breaking out. Turns out, I have not been taking care of my skin that well and dirt and gross stuff started clogging the little pores that I have, making my pores filled with oil and dirt from the bad air that I face on a daily basis. It doesn’t help that my hormones go haywire each time I get my menses and I wear make up on a daily basis. These dirt and oil usually does not go anywhere, but starts to block the pores. Those black, black dots you see on your nose, are the oily dirt and that clogged pore is called a blackhead. Having blackheads on your T-zone especially the nose area creates a perfect place for inflammation to happen and soon, guess what pops out?

PIMPLES!

I started noticing how my nose looks rough and there were dark dots on my nose. It didn’t take me long to realise that I have a case of blackheads! Quickly I went to find what products to use to ensure my pores are not clogged. Oil Control Cleansing Wipes: These wipes are for those who want to keep face clean throughout the day. This wipes works by removing make up, dirt, oil and other impurities as it contains oil absorbing powder to control oil & also ingredients to help prevent blemishes while removing dirt, oil…etc. The wipes is also enriched with Aloe Vera extract to provide skin with soothing care, and maintain a healthy skin. When wiping your face with this wipes, it makes your face feel owh so fresh with its minty scent. I think it would make a perfect perk-me-up in the middle of a busy day at college or at work. It comes in a white tissue form with tiny holes on it for greater absorption. It’s handy, can be kept in your handbag and you can use it any time at any place. Ultimately if you have oily/blemish prone skin, keep this in your handbag and you’ll can take it out whenever you need to clean your face. Retails at RM6.90 for 12 wipes.

Blackhead Clearing Wash: This cleanser is another awesome minty product. The scent is divine, if you’re into the cooling scent. It is in an awesome blue colour with blue Jojoba micro beads which helps prevent clogged pores and take away all the formation of blackheads. Of course, this cleanser is enriched with moisturiser to ensure that your face is not only cleaned, but moisturised. Use it on a daily basis to prevent blackheads. Retails at RM11.90.

Nose Pore Strip: This is my favourite part of the blackhead clearing routine. I’ve always loved this stage of my skincare routine just because I can actually see the dirt being removed as opposed to it being washed away. It is a sticky nose strip that sticks on to a wet nose. It also contains Natural Tea Tree Oil to help prevent blemishes and instantly removes blackheads and your pores will be clean after that. It only takes 10 minutes (and it hurts a bit when peeling off) and removed clogs can be visibly seen on the strip, and I’m not kidding you. Here’s a proof of my ahem, clogged pores being removed. One of the very few strips that actually works on my nose. I give it a 5 star! Try it if you have the chance. Retails at RM 12.90 for 10 strips.
