It’s the greatest and most beautiful asset we all have so make sure you don’t let it go to waste! Think your teeth are too wonky or totally discoloured and it makes you feel self-conscious when you smile? Don’t worry about all that! Just follow these easy steps to a great, gorgeous smile that will make you light up any room, anytime!
Take proper care of your teeth!
If you can’t be bothered about your teeth, then you’d probably never have a nice set anyway! You must brush and floss twice a day and pay the dentist a visit at least twice a year (you could also get a whitening treatment if you like). Go for whitening toothpaste to help remove stains and don’t forget to brush your tongue as well as your lips for a clean, smooth, and kissable pout!
Be wary of what you drink!
Cola, coffee and tea will definitely change the colour of your teeth! You can go for all the whitening treatments and use the most expensive tooth-care products in the world, but if you keep guzzling down these stain-causing drinks, you can forget about having a gleaming smile. Try to brush your teeth immediately after you consume these drinks to help prevent staining. What’s good for your teeth is milk to keep them healthy and dazzling!
Makeup can do wonders
Choose your lipcolours wisely to make it seem like you have an impressive set of pearly whites! Dark coloured and red lipsticks with blue undertones will make your teeth whiter. However, you might come across as looking old if you use these shades. What you could do is when you want to go for a bold coloured lippie, keep your outfit looking young and chic so that you don’t look like a frumpy, overdone old lady! Frosted and matte lipcolurs will just dull your smile and draw attention to the flaws of your teeth. Pick glossy finishes as it will add depth and also reflect light off your lips.
Act confident and SMILE!
No matter what kind of teeth you have or even if you have a crooked smile, you must most importantly be comfortable, believe in yourself and act confident! Instead of wasting time focusing on your flaws, why not try accepting them and celebrating your individuality instead? It would be good to give yourself a chance and love yourself! Everyone appreciates a smile. Make sure you flash that your big, beautiful smile to embody audacity, spontaneity and LIFE!
