Brogue styling
By: CherrypopWe’re loving all the flat boots and brogues that are the rage right now as seen in street snaps and they have been seen in just about every picture. The best part of them is that they are a great alternative to sandals and ballerina flats and prove a touch of that masculine chic to your outfit to mix it up a little. They’re also a choice of footwear which is quite unexpected. If sandals say pretty and feminine, brogues and boots scream ultra chic.
Here we show some ideas on how to wear your pair.

With patchwork denim and a denim tote, a tee with stripes and a tweed jacket. There is a clash in patterns with the patchwork and stripes but the neutral colours of the jacket and scarf bring it together.

Your flat biker boots can be dressed up with an anorak and a floral dress which is careless, yet deliberate.

The artful combination of baggy three quarter pants that shows off black patent brogues, a half unbuttoned blouse with a cardigan thrown over and a floral necklace is punched up with the addition of a vermilion bag.

You can wear them sans laces in a cool silver against an all black outfit like the girl on the right.

Cowboy-ish boots can be worn with black tights, a slouchy sweater dress held in with a studded belt and a huge stack of black and gold bangles.

Boots also look chic with a Chanel-esque jacket over a long dark grey top and a red bag.

This pair look almost like tennis shoes and looks offbeat matched with a floral pleated skirt and a simple white camisole.

A bold Union Jack tunic top is accentuated with a studded blazer, bowler-like hat and chocolate brown brogues with black socks.

Layering of a shirt, scarf and jacket is done right when paired with a clutch and lace up boots in a similar taupe shade.

A pop of silver is added to a dress and blazer combination.

Brown and black look great together especially when it comes in the form of a biker jacket, loose top and tone on tone pants.

Lighter layers on top of a darker bottom draws the eye upwards

for a really great pair, try Clarks, they’re platforms as well…
