Although fall fashion is upon us, we cannot help but look at these stylish gals and be inspired to wear similar outfits in our warmer weather. After all, there’s only so much layering which we can do here (what, with a maximum of say, 3 layers, it is warmer and sweatier than one can ever imagine!), and so shorts, minis and dresses suit us just fine!

Here are just a few looks lifted off from the streets of Sydney, London, France and Belgium.

In addition to looking model-esque, this girl has simply paired her tiered, floral printed dress with carefree  waves, Jackie O sunnies and simple T-bar sandals. Even from here one can spot the gorgeous, glowing tanned skin. With her dog by her side, she comes across as a chic, girl-next-door walking her dog down the street.

The pop of neon orange in the form of shiny oxfords is the right jolt of colour injected into this simple royal blue playsuit and because she is wearing hardly any jewellery, the effect is nonchalant and simple, just thrown on like an afterthought.

Bib necklaces are still (literally) huge this season and they are so easy to wear to transform an outfit. This particular piece is reminiscent of the one Drew Barrymore wore at a recent red carpet premiere, and she styled hers on top of a white halter neck dress. While the black slingbag mixes up the hippie vibe a little, we couldn’t help but notice the striking orange sandals which echo the beads in her necklace. It is altogether a simple and cohesive outfit that’s easy to wear.

This super-casual style is great on those days where one will be doing nothing but chilling out at a cafe on a weekend. The fitted and slightly rumpled shirt with its rolled up sleeves looks comfortably casual and an unusual pattern on her knee-length shorts adds in some tribal influence to the whole getup.

White pants worn with a fitted white top looks almost like a playsuit which gives shape and elongates the figure because of the continuous colour. Something like this needs no major accessorising as the clean lines and colour of the outfit are the focus.

A nautical look is brought to a sophisticated level when wide-legged denim pants are paired with a stripe top and gold flats.

A simple white dress is made special with embroidery details down the front and given shape with a belt around the waist. Black accessories like the slouchy bag and black flats add sophistication to an otherwise very dressed-down outfit. With a bikini underneath and strappy sandals, her dress would double as a cover up for the beach.”
