Hand held Bags

We are talking literally holding your bags.  3 ways to do this-  last season’s oversize clutch to be recycled, long straps and sling bags works also works  with this look as the straps are long enough to be folded and held against bags and lastly hand carry handbags with small handles. Bag sizes vary from large totes  sizes at Gucci to boxy cute ones at Lanvin and perspex encased ones at Chanel. The trick is to just fold or wrap straps so that they are short enough. And the most beautiful part, no new investment in bag needed unless you so desire. Just get creative! And if you should want to add to your collection or reward yourself, please look into cute boxy ones like Lanvin, exotic leather like alligator, quilting and studs for tactile effect as Vogue puts it and quirky boxy backpacks at Chanel.

Leather it UP!

I have to apologize because, yet again, we will feature leather! Yes, I still think it is the look to wear in Malaysia and yes it is very in this autumn winter. Sure, the weather is hot in Malaysia and we will sweat buckets but the weather isn’t about to change any time soon. In fact, any drastic change to cold weather  might spell the end of earth as we know it…global warming would have finally completed it’s job.

So, I say, get creative. I don’t think sweating will spoil leather, err we sweat everyday…. I wear my leather skirt in all conditions and I give it a quick wipe down and some breathing space and it is good as new the next day. I have had it for  a few years already. But but a good quality well treated one…brands liek MNG and Zara have some very good ones for jackets!
