DNA  or Deoxyribonucleic acid sounds too much like X-Files as in out there? Well try again… it is the very essence of us … you how when you do something similar to any of your parent’s quirky behaviour, people willsay, well it’s in the DNA or in the genes? What DNA really is , it is a molecule  found in all living cells. DNA contains information necessary for an organism to develop and function. Genetic predisposition happens when  there is an element of DNA responsible for the expression of hereditary charateristics; which is also the definition of gene (1911).

Lately there has been a lot of interest in DNA, cellular biology and everything else related to living cells. And I am as confused as the  next person but sufficed for me to know that for a healthy body or skin, healthy cells need to first exist. Cells fortunately exists by the gazillions in our system and very being, but they too die off due to “wear and tear”.  Therefore it is important to keep cells healthy and continually renewed in the system by taking care of existing ones and living healthily is one way that new cells can be regenerated.

The launch of SKin Vivo entitled Rebirth was held at Space at Asian Heritage Row , and the whole atmosphere had  a very sci-fi feel to it. Ostrich eggs designer  lampshades, were used as decor as Skin Vivo is about sensations reborn, and sensations renewed. The whoel packaging of Skin Vivo has an egg shape to match the theme. The spokesperson for Skin Vivo, 25 year old Shannan Click was also introduced at the event.

I have been using the Anti Age Fundamental Day Cream and Anti Age Reversive Lotion

Frequency of usage:day and night

I will first apply the Reversive Lotion which is rich with regenerating pure thermal plankton, it serves as an initilaizer and skin feels soft after application. Scent is a warm sweet baby smell. Next I will apply the Day Cream all over my face . I focus more on the areas near corner of my eyes which I have detected fine lines and also around corners of my mouth.

I discover that the fine lines around the corners of my mouth do look plumper. Pores look slightly reduced, skin feels taut but not tight or dry. I can’t claim the luminosity yet. In the morning when I wash my face there is a light  film that is washed off. Skin feels protected. Skin is not oily throughout the day. The day cream is a gel cream which is absorbed quite quickly despite my liberal application dosage. So far no break outs or clogged pores. Whiteheads are also reduced.

Review after 30 days: This is my favorite product for the moment, skin is definitely refined and difinitely tauter than usual. My face looks, very fine lines have appeared plumper. There is no lightening effect seen on skin but the best part is overall skin looks firmer and yes, younger overall appearance.
