I have been using the Garnier Aqua Defense  non stop moisturizing body lotion occasionally. I usually use it in the mornings and find it quite refreshing and not sticky and gooey even when sweating. It is absorbed quite quickly.

I usually just moisturize parts of my body  like the base of my foot and hands. But because Aquadefense  claims 24 hours non stop moisturizing and is made of pure fruit water and anti oxidant; I felt compelled to test out this claim. According to my skin specialist , my skin is very dry because there really shouldn’t be a scratch marks  at all when one do the scratch for drynes test in a well moisturized skin.

So with that in mind, when I first tried outAquadefense, I applied it on my hands and legs. I am an easy test, my skin is under moisturized. I applied it just before bedtime and left it as  it is for 24 hours and did a scratch test again 24 hours later.

The results were as claimed for the first application, scratch test results show that skin was till moisturized as there were no appearance of scratch mark. However, subsequent three or 4 tests later (3 or 4 days later) shows that the  wearability has reduced. Which means after 24 hours slight marks did appear but this could be due to the amount used and also differing activities during the day.  But suffice  to say that the moisturizing effect did last longer than the average body lotions out there which in some case would be about 8 hours.

What really captivates  me is the fresh apple scent , which is refreshing and light and does not clash during the day with my perfume and it doesn’t feel slippery and gooey when I sweat and under the hot sun. It is comfortabel to use in our climate.
