Matériel Celebrates 365 Days

Multi-label cult boutique Matériel (located in Pavilion KL shopping mall) turned a year old this month with offerings of more stylishly edgy threads as well as an addition of two new labels, Vita & Headquarter. We of course love Vita bangles so much that it has been featured on Emmagem before; view it here!
The other brands available at Matériel include Dr. Denim Jeans (Sweden), Nicholas (Singapore), 2K by Gingham (USA) and Federation Clothing (New Zealand).
All I can say is that the clothes at Matériel are very wearable and the price point is also reasonable. Clothes from Matériel are meant to be worn as individual statement pieces even their simple tees make a statement by themselves.
Each piece needs to be worn with some injection of imagination and creativity by the wearer and are flexible enough for a look to be created without each drowning the other out but instead bringing out the best in each other.
Something that I found wearable would be a T-Ra top with tights or a cropped Nicholas top with a matching wrap skirt which calls out for you to show your creative side because mixing and matching and accessorizing would greatly enhance the outfit differently for each wearer.
