Every now and then, exfoliate your skin with a mask treatment. I mean, it only takes 10 minutes, not that hard to do. There are many ranges of mask available out there from gel mask, mud mask, even cream mask that are oh-so-easy to apply.

I have a cream mask lying around and since everyone tells me my skin is dehydrated, I really needed some moisture on my skin. On a lazy Sunday evening, I decided to cleanse my face, exfoliate my face with a facial scrub and do a DIY home spa.

The product I’m reviewing today would be the Clarins Hydraquench Cream-Mask. This light, fluffy cream based mask is suitable for dehydrated skin and contains katafray tree bark which moisturizes the skin. Perfect for feeding your skin with some moisture.

What to do?

1. 1. Cleanse face thoroughly. Use a facial scrub if needed.
   2. Wipe face dry with a freshly warm towel.
   3. Apply mask on your dry face. I used the Clarins HydraQuench Cream Mask. It would be advisable to use a brush to apply the mask, but if you don’t have any, just use your fingers. Clarins advises to use a sheet of cloth mask on the face and gently massage the face for the product to work.
   4. Wait for about 5-10 minutes. Read a book, relax, just don’t sleep with the mask!
   5. Remove the mask after the required time. Usually, masks require people to wash with water, but this particular mask requires users to wipe off with a toner+cotton pad.
   6. Moisturize face after the mask session for the finish!

How did my face feel after that? Moisturized! My skin felt soft and you can see the difference if you notice your skin’s before and after’s look. My face also feels better and rejuvenated after applying the mask. Perfect for anyone with dehydrated skin.
