After viewing Jimmy Choo’s fall collection at an exclusive luncheon in Nerofico, we realised that the label takes its latest inspirations very seriously and dives into the post punk era when Siouxsie Sioux and Debbie Harry reigned supreme. Channeling the era’s anarchic spirit into a new sense of luxury, there were plenty of studs, rivets, cutaways, leopard, mesh and glossy snakeskin that collided in a vibrantly sexual collection full of surprises.

For one, don’t expect anything less than stylish and be warned that it is not for the faint-hearted. You can be sure punk and an 80s vibe will reign in fall! Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect in Jimmy Choo boutiques!

The Ramona is a black tote in buttery leather with lots of gold studs and huge rivets that pull it together.

The lace tube clutch matches the specially designed lace bootie that’s made out of strong and sturdy material that’s used to make fishermen’s nets. It looks delicate but appearances can be deceiving.

A closeup on the slip-on sandal that’s perfect for night. The heel height is not too high, making it wearable and ultimately comfortable to be worn for long hours. Gemstone-like embellishments jazz up the teal satin.

The lace tube clutch has studs outlining the case and is a great combination to toughen up a typically feminine fabric.

More punk infuences can be seen like on the Jazz shoe with straps, and the Blythe L tote with gold buckles. The shoe reminds us of an edgy, high heeled ballet shoe, reinvented for a tougher image.

Wear these cutout heels with a loose tee and a mini skirt for height and emphasis on long, lean legs.

The eye-catching red Keenan heels in patent offer plenty of sex appeal and together with the medium-sized red Blythe bag, they make a dynamite pair. The grey suede and liquid patent tote in the background on the left can be zipped up into  a smaller bag so it’s like having 2 bags in 1! The Odette bag on the far right with dark blue and black leopard print is made of pony fur and has an extremely glossy sheen to it.

The Karina is a deliciously hard-edged mesh bootie that’s ultra comfortable to slip into and is great with skinny, ripped denim and a back vest for a night out on the town.
