Michael Jackson\’s Last Rehearsal

I have been in a sort of apathy since I heard about the death of Michael Jackson,”King of  Pop”, the music I listened to when I was growing up.  All my “partying action ” was based on music from him and by him!

Now I as I watched him in moves that are so familiar so him, I can’t help but finally find the tears which I thought was strangely missing from a cry baby like myself. I felt what Jane Fonda said in an interview calling all not to judge Michael and all his past errors in judgment and also in the way strange way  he lived his life because we don’t really know what goes on in his mind, to be very poignant. I felt that  death was perhaps finally peace for him  from whatever turmoil in his life and inside him.

But truly, everyone has heard this the whole week, but let me say it again, the world truly lost a genius. His ingenue attitude (some call it childlike) has also  led others to take advantage of it. But his creativity and originality in his songs , his dance moves will be one that the world will surely miss  in this world of cut and paste.

So, God takes what he creates and perhaps he just wants this musical “purity” closer to home!
