A more affordable pair of Choos
By: Cherrypop
The shoe label we all know and love (and also because the original designer is Malaysian!), Jimmy Choo, has caught onto the trend of designing a capsule line for a retailer. In this case, it’s clothing giant H&M.
Right after Matthew Williamson’s boldly printed summer line for the label, the luxury shoe line, which is a red carpet favorite of a multitude of celebrities like Kate Hudson, Vanessa Hudgens, Jessica Alba, Beyonce, will not only be creating a women’s and men’s collection of shoes, bags and accessories, but will be extending its range to design a women’s clothing line. This marks the first designer accessory collaboration for H&M. Jimmy Choo for H&M will hit stores on 14 November 2009 with shoe styles ranging from US$60-US$200- a steal compared to Jimmy Choo’s US$500 and above prices. That’s about RM2,000 at least over here to Malaysians!
You can be sure the line will sell like hotcakes, so if you have friends or relatives who are over in the US, be sure to get them to grab a few items for you!
Here’s a visual sneak peek at a few of the Jimmy Choo shoes from H&M.
