So about a month ago, I had the biggest letdown of my life (I’m exaggerating), but, yea, my notebook of 4 years crashed on me. It was a sad moment because it was my lurve and it has been through so much with me throughout my whole undergraduate life and of course, emmagem was developed using that same ol notebook.

It was a tough decision for me, but we had to take his “heart(disk)” out and try to revive the heart. In the end we could not save him…

RIP notebook, you’ve been a great lurve!

You see my notebook is my lurve… You must think I’m crazy for calling my notebook my lurve …but really, I lurve my notebook! Why?

It has INTERNET!

I work in an online blogazine, emmagem.com. I need to go online like everyday, to check emails, post up articles, go for meetings and once again, use the wifi service.

It has my friends in it…

Okay, so how many of you have friends overseas? Really close friends who are all over the world? Well, I have tons of friends all over the world. One is in the UK, a few in the States and like a million of them in Australia. Australia is a friend stealer I tell you. But anyways, the only way which is easy and of course the best way to talk is through the internet. We have instant messenger, Skype, Facebook and everything which really makes the world so small!!!

In essence, I am in lurve with my computer because……

lols. Its true, because half the time, I see my long lost friends only on the internet.

my life=my friends=my job=my internet=my lurve

So now you know how my life is in tune with the internet. Then, my quest begins, to find my new lurve. I searched high and low for the new lurve to appear. I wanted it to look sleek and awesome. Then there it was, lo and behold… a Mac Book Pro was calling my name!

I fell in lurve with this new thing immediately, so I bought a sleek Mac Book! Now, changing from PC to Mac, is a super hard thing to do.  I have to learn everything from scratch.. The whole system is sorta very different and everything is ‘terbalik‘. The buttons to click are on the other end, the whole system preferences are all quite different. I was skeptical at first and had this love hate relationship with my new Mac book. But on the other end, the graphics of the Mac book is so pretty and really pleasing to the eye as everything is so smoothly flowing. It is a bit hard at first, but I’m getting used to it…I hate that I have to learn everything again, but I also lurve how it looks and works.

This reminds me of my love-hate relationship with snacks. I spend a lot of my allowance on them coz I do love to eat them loads!!! They keep me company in the movies, in front of the TV, on my way back from work (yes, I eat and drive, don’t do this in your car kids!) and many other places where I can gobble them down. Until I found this multigrain chips from Twisties called LURVE. Have you tried them before? They’re like chips, but more of a healthier choice as instead of the normal ingredients in chips, they are made out of multiple wheats, grains, oats, rice, corn etc which are of course, better for the digestion.

Now, I know, it sounds damn weird right? Multigrain chips…Sounds like what only healthy people eat, or it would taste really bad. At first I tried the green pack french onion flavour. It was alright, very minimal onion taste, but it was not my kinda thing. I like mine hot and spicy. So I tried the red pack next, which was flavoured, of course, hot and spicy. That one was awesome! It is spicy, they really blended well with the multigrain texture. The third one was seaweed. It was salty and tasted really yummy. Multigrain chips taste good after all. At first the taste has to be acquired first, and at the end of the pack, you’ll want more and can’t get enough of them!

Like my love hate relationship with my Mac, LURVE’s the same. I lurve the fact that it tastes so damn good. Awesome for breakfast I must say. You get all the goodness of grains, and still have a snack for breakfast.
