Biotherm Wave

Are you practicing your basic 3 step beauty regime , ie cleanse , tone and moisturize, if not why not? It has come to my attention that I have been seriously slacking in these most fundamental of beauty regime. I am ashamed and seriously making amends. It may be too late for certain parts like hyper pigmentation but for my fine lines which I previously had no idea what caused them, I can now take immediate remedial action to moisturize them. Yes, it was so simple, the skin was seriously dehydrated hence the fine lines. So I am going out there and thirstily gulping down any information about any moisturizers and hydrating creams that I can get my hands on.
I have taken a one week journey with Aquatrio by Biotherm. This range of product had added natural minerals for their hydrating range. There are three different types of minerals for the three more common types of skin. Copper for the purifying and oily skin, magnesium for combination skin and zinc for dry skin. It is a simple 3 step process to shiny oil free skin in seven days.
Most people fall under the combination skin which means skin is oily on top especially the T-Zone and dehydrated underneath. I am using the oily combination and find that it is easy to apply and just needs a bit of gentle massage to ensure that it is fully absorbed. As I only apply on my forehead and Tzone , I find that the gel base helps reduce oiliness but as yet at press time I do not yet see major reduction on the fines lines. It needs to be given a longer time. However , the easy absorption means that my skin does look plumper and healthier.
Until the 28th June starting from 29th May 2009, Biotherm is running their Biotherm Wave bus (you can’t miss it) it’s a lovely black color with white top and what is even lovelier is that it has got a giant picture of Takeshi Kanehiro plasted across the boardside. So going inside the bus , gave a certain sense of familiarity with Takeshi, I feel closer ehem… actually I felt like leaning againts the bus but sanity prevailed, it is a little dusty and I would look more than a tad silly to do that right in front of Chawan and Bangsar Village I and II, where it was parked that fateful day.
However, inside is where the action is, you can a play a video game developed by Biotherm themselves and if you win you can get some very interesting free gifts, beauty blogger Beetrice won herself a nifty sunblock if I am not mistaken.
But for the real purpose of being in the belly of Takeshi faced bus which is to get your skin tested with some pretty tech gadgets; it is both enlightening and reassuring. Enlightening because you now know what is the true condition of your skin and allows for the next step forward, remedial actions and reassuring because you know there are products and consultations out there that will help your skin, you just have to learn to listen and pay attention to your skin.

So next time you bump into the Takeshi “Biotherm Wave” bus, step right in it will be different journey to a different sort of destination….
