Island Shop’s enchanted garden

Island Shop Malaysia recently opened a new outlet in Sunway Pyramid. At 1,500 square feet, the store offers a full range of apparel and accessories for men and women. When you step into the store, be prepared for strong lighting on shelves, a stone cobble facade and natural timber, which add to the label’s rustic elements. Moving away from the familiar traditional island resort feel, the décor reflects its new look of urban lifestyles.
The opening of Island Shop was officiated by a fashion showcase with its spring/summer 2009 line themed “The Enchanted Garden”, which features an assortment of artsy, floral and romance-inspired designs. This season, Island Shop plays with quirky styling and a flirty, feminine feel, creating a look that is best described as one’s Sunday best on the Island’s Garden of Earthly Delights.
The show took place in a makeshift garden where afternoon tea was being served.
The models walked out onto the lawn and stopped by to enjoy the afternoon.

The models pose in the Abstract, Adornment and Applique range which focuses on a handmade, rustic feel to garments with an emphasis on techiniques such asfraying, stitching, and appliques.
