Find the Right Dress
By: Rachel Desiree
Which woman doesn’t love to wear a figure-flattering pretty dress? Heck, even men love to see their partners in nice dresses too! You know how it is often said that the dress makes a woman? Well, why wouldn’t it?
No matter how self-conscious you are, the right dress will accentuate the best part of your body and make you feel comfortable and feminine, from head to toe.
If you are in search of the perfect dress, the key is to find one that flatters your shape.
Top heavy:
Also known as apple shaped, you would have a wide torso together with a full bust, waist and upper back. Your upper body is noticeably larger compared to the lower body.
Look for:
Get a classic sheath with a high-cut neck to minimize your full bust. Try out wrap dresses too-This would look great on you!
Remember that square necks accommodate full-busts and if you put on an eye-catching necklace, that would draw away all the attention from your chest.

Avoid:
Stay away from halters (especially those that broaden your bustline) as well as fussy and heavily-decorated dresses.
Full Hips:
Here’s one of the most common body-shapes. You are noticeably smaller on top than on the bottom and you have a curvy bottom.
Look for:
Search for an A-line cut dress that doesn’t hug too tight. It’ll help to skim your curves.
If you can find a dress with some hemline details, that’ll draw the attention away from your bum. A V-neckline will also do the job to divert the eye, upward.

Avoid:
Don’t ever get any belted styled dresses. That will just attract even more attention to your midsection.
Boyish figure:
You are one of those that has very little curve. You also have a small frame that is considered athletic /slim and you would probably wear petite or tall sizes.
Look for:
Add volume to your figure by wearing dresses with ruffles and other embellishments on the bodice.
A sexy belted shirtdress in flowing fabrics will accentuate your curves. The flowing cut will add fullness and movement.

Avoid:
Move away from cuts that are too straight and narrow, that will never do any justice to your straight figure.
