Another eye candy for this week: Plastic rings! Plastic rings are really such cute things which can be placed in replacement of your usual gold or silver ring just to spice up your day. I remember a scene from Grey’s Anatomy when Izzie Stevens walked into the chemo room with a big white plastic ring with small, colored rhinestones embedded saying “I’m a bride!!”. Which goes to say that plastic rings do get some attention!

The Carrotbox has an extensive array of plastic rings. They’re all so colourful and comes in all shapes and sizes. Makes my day looking at it.  

This is a real mini starfish inside the plastic ring! How cool is that? I just hope they did not go and purposely find a starfish to put it in as that would be wrong! From Etsy Seller Pennydogaccessories, this ring is going for USD$16.

Ring Apartment is a Malaysian based shop which do sell rings and they are all in funky shapes and sizes. Some rings are even not rings, but more of a fashion statement like the above rock steady ring. They also have this awesome bolt of lightning ring for sale for RM8/USD$3 each.

tigerlillyshop has the most pretty Japanese inspired motive on the ring. This ring is called Blooming Cherry and it is hand painted. How cool is that! Retails for USD7.

On the other hand, Davesheelydesigns adds a little tile/stone to his plastic rings. They are moulded into a huge plastic shaped ring and is on sale for USD$30. 

This intricate design of buildings on a ring is so fascinating. You can have, leaning tower of pisa, eiffel tower, big ben and space needle all on your finger. So when you feel like one of those days where you need to get out of your office chair and go traveling (but really cannot do so), get this ring and fantasize!
