Green Is In
By: Rachel DesireeDon’t get all envious now. This time around, celebs are donning wonderful, eye-catching green pieces in all styles and tones. Check-out how they pull off the greenery all glam and resplendent without looking like a walking front-lawn!
Helena Christensen, simply casual cool in a woolly, mint cardigan, cropped paisley legging and ballerina flats. Oh, look at that matching paper bag in her hand!
A summer look not to be missed, Jessica Alba puts on a long green halterneck dress, oversized sunnies and a straw hat to keep the sun off her lovely face.
Sienna Miller shows-off one of her own designs, a marine-blue mini-dress from Twenty8Twelve, jazzed up with Swarovski crystals with metallic heels and clutch to go.
I love this striking green one-shoulder mini dress! Kym Marsh looks extremely polished with her bob-styled hair and accessories kept to minimal.
This is what you call colour-blocking. Leighton Meester in a bright green Ferry Boat coat by Nanette Lepore paired up with sheer grey tights and canary yellow heels.
You can never go wrong with shorts, and Kerry Washington teams her pair up with a flowy, three-quarter sleeved top.
Miranda Kerr in a mint green body con dress which is plain and simple yet turns out stunning when matched with beige peep-toe heels and a chunky stand-out ring.
Alesha Dixon looks all bright and happy in her green, empire-line bubble dress. She jazzes up her outfit with sparkly sliver shoes and a pair dangling earrings.
How to wear green?
Afraid to step towards the green side? No worries. It’d be great to start off by getting accessories in that shade. Just put on anything simple, even muted colours and jazz it all up with a bright blast of minor details like a pair of shoes or just a chunky bangle.
If you are wearing separates, it would be just nice to wear just one piece in green, so you wouldn’t come off as OTT.
As the stars do it above, pair up your green pieces with yellow for stand-out style or simply team them with basic neutral colours like black, white, grey and beige.
Tell us if you dare to walk on the green side!
