When I was researching on beauty products to buy a few months back, I came across Garnier (Maybe because the Australian Open season was on and Garnier sponsored it. The power of advertising eh?). In Malaysia then, they only had the whitening range of products. I was quite bummed as I saw that there are many other ranges online which aren’t available in our home country.

Yesterday, we were introduced to a new range of Garnier Products. Excitedly, we went to try on the new products in a luxurious manner. We were given a spa treatment at Khareyana Spa using the Garnier products. This new range of product is called the Garnier Aqua Defense. They have the whole works from the Aqua Defense Cleansing Foam (RM10.90), Toner (RM16.90), Eye Roll On (RM21.90), Gel Cream(RM17.90), Moisturizing Essence(RM19.90) and even a body lotion(RM21.90).

All of which will help you hydrate your face and locks in moisture. The products have a very fresh scent to it and it can be attributed to the active ingredients: Vitamin E and Fruit Waters. Fruit waters are natural fruit extract from fruits like apples which will help the skin and make it fresh all day long.

How did the spa treatment go?

First we were given a body massage. The masseuse used the Garnier Aqua Defense body lotion and applied it all over my body of course, she also massaged the body well. Then she moved on to cleansing my face and making sure all the dirt is off. Then she applied toner on my face followed by eye roll on in a circular manner on my eye bags and eyelids. She then put on the gel cream and moisturizer followed by a head massage.

The whole treatment was really awesome as it left my body feeling hydrated, especially my face. Now I know how to do my own spa treatment at home with the Garnier products.

The weather in KL lately has been so wonky. One minute, its super sunny and extremely hot, and the next, it will be filled with haze. We all know the importance of air conditioning in Malaysia to cool us down, but do we know how harmful it is to our skin? The air conditioner is awesome and all, but in reality it recycles the air and your skin will be suffocating inside an air conditioning room after a long day of work. Skin becomes so dry and eventually leads to really bad skin. After work, we head out and with that 5pm’s hot sun, the skin is once again exposed to the sun rays. We all know how bad the sun ray is to our skin.
