Well, what can I say, lo and behold my masterpiece…

Exciting or what… as you know, I had to make some minor adjustments, being a novice at baking, I kept missing out on things… took me two trips to get “everything ” together and yet….  Of course,  I also bought the wrong loaf pan which was totally unnecessary which I did not realize till after, that my sister -in -law, the owner of oven and mother to my “sous chef”  actually has one that came with oven a long time ago. It is a little bigger , hence cake is a little flatter and you may not see how well it has risen to the occasion! I was a little concern somewhere between mixing butter and flour, it seemed a little too watery. But I decided to just follow the recipe strictly . I remembered Jamie Oliver once said that baking is like science it is quite exact. So I put faith in Adam’s recipe and look at that, I am mighty proud of myself.

Sorry , ze little chef insisted on  “stars” for the decor… and yep, we brought out the silver platter for the occasion !
