Fash Fab #12 showcased Bow Group’s Ninakimi‘s leather shoes and Helly Beachwear‘s awesome swimsuits last night at Twentyone kitchen+bar, Changkat Bukit Bintang. The show started at about 11pm with models in sexy swimwear and fabulous gladiators. Bow Group is headed by Farhana who started her own label of clothes right in her house in Bandar Utama. She then helped a few indie designers to start up and sell in her shop and now, two of her in house designers are out there showcasing their designs for the world to see.

Helly Beachwear is a line of swimsuits/bikinis/monokinis which were specially designed and made. She carries specially designed bikinis and monokinis which comes with a bikini bottom or a board shorts bottom. Ninakimi on the other hand makes affordable leather shoes which are truly comfy and one of a kind, as Ninakimi handmade them. In her line of designs, she has many types of gladiators, patterned flip flops, lighther covers and slippers for men and children too.

We arrived there and chilled out with some free flow of Vodka before the show started. Being the first 50 people, we got a goodie bag which has a RM50 food voucher from Twentyone kitchen+bar, a sauna spa voucher, a necklace (as seen on the models) and a leather cuff/bangle by Ninakimi. Its rewarding to be early eh?

Fash Fab (read article) provides an avenue for online shop business or young designers in Malaysia to showcase their designs and clothing line to the patrons of the bar and all who want to see. This event is also organized by Oxygen Magazine, so maybe if they like you, they might feature your stuff on their magazine.
