Get beach ready with Roxy and Quicksilver
By: CherrypopInspired with blends from the 80′s new wave scene of colours together with the 90′s ‘I’ll wear it my way’ attitude of grunge, with an eco-friendly coastal perspective – “Surf Fast Rock Hard” was the theme of the night.
“Surf Fast Rock Hard” follows a grunge influence with washed out bright colours, geo patterns and stripes that will be prominently featured from tees to fleeces together with small scale tartan plaids featured heavily on Quiksilver’s known boardshorts and sweater and shirts.
Highlights of the launch include the Roxy Studio Series which is an exclusive limited edition line of premium tees that features artwork from Roxy’s worldwide artist studio collective, Summer / Spring collection that include boardshorts, summer dresses, short skirts, halter tops and dresses in an array of bold and fun spring colours.
The fashion show itself was a thorough one with four categories: Surf Fast Rock Hard, Art Studio, Denim Grunge and Colour Wave.

There were many shorts and colourful tank top combinations.

Bare chested male models in funky board shorts carrying surfboards.

Printed bikinis and vibrant sarongs.

Pretty printed shorts and a bikini top paired with a bold singlet top is casual and summery.

Roxy also carries beach bags and casual totes for weekend use.

Bold stripes on the bottom help widen guys’ very small lower halves.

A comfy outfit to wear to the beach.

Boardshorts like these can even double as shorts when you’re out and about.

Even guys can wear beaded necklaces for that reggae feel (kind of like Jason Mraz’s style).

The collection also featured paisley printed tops paired with shorts. Perfect for taking you from the beach to the bar.

Ombre dresses are also hot this season and this number can be thrown over a bikini as a cover up.

Quicksilver is well-known for their hoodie jackets and the relaxed fit is ideal for something stylish, yet comfortable.
