Lauren Luke, a Youtube make up artist finally realised her dream of starting a new make up line. Now who says the internet is rubbish? People are making a living out of youtube! Lauren, who goes by the nickname of Panacea81, is going to launch her new make up line called “by Lauren Luke” on 27th April 2009. She started making video tutorials on Youtube in 2007 and has a following of 202,588 subscribers.

Lauren is a single mother staying in the UK. She quit her job and started selling make up on e-bay. When people started asking her how she did that look on e-bay, she started giving lessons on Youtube. She does step by step videos on how to put on make up. She also specializes in teaching people how to imitate celebrity looks.

That was when she became a little more famous. When she did this look from Leona Lewis, everyone wanted a different look from different celebrities, and the rest as they say is history. Each time she uses any product, her subscribers will comment and ask her what make up does she use, where did she get it from and how much was it. She soon started her own make up line.

Lauren carefully picked and chose each colour palate in each look. Each of them comes with the whole range of product for the whole face. There are the 2 shadow primers (for dark and light skin tones), 3 eye shadows, blusher, 2 lips colours and a huge mirror.

The colours are amazing, from what I see on her colour swatches on her video.

Lauren Luke plans to expand her range of make up with brushes and any other items related to beauty. She plans to make a difference in the beauty industry. Good to know that her whole range of products are not tested on animals:)
