By: thebeautywriter
Pink is summer’s latest obsession and we’re here to tell you why. Sweet on any skin tone and pretty when matched with floral slip-ons, pink lips make one of summer’s biggest trends to date. It’s all about looking fresh and radiant and pink lips automatically brighten up your face!
quick tip on getting the summer beach look:
If you must step out to the beach or pool, bring along a pink lip gloss for easy touch-ups. Plus lip glosses go well with easy makeup – here’s a quick tip on getting the summer beach look to complement your pink lip gloss:
- For your eyes, just one or two coats of waterproof mascara is sufficient. You don’t want to end up with raccoon eyes right?
- Use a lightweight foundation like mineral foundation as you don’t want to look like you have cakey layers on. Plus mineral foundation contains SPF to keep sun rays at bay!
- For cheeks, cheek stains or tints work just well. A sheer colour on the apples of your cheeks is enough for a natural flush.
- Don’t forget your pink lip gloss! Apply when necessary too.

Yeah, Summer Look is easy, most people take it for granted as they just thought it wouldn’t matter specially if you want to go for a swim in the pool or beach. Lip gloss is always handy, glossy and shiny is the quick fix during summer as we are all lazy to do our face when it’s too hot!

Always remember to sunblock and the sunblock can also be used to give a temporary tan look or else use a body or face bronzer….

Dawn: go with your instincts. If you’re bold, then try fuchsia. But keep the rest of your face simple and light. If you use soft pink, you can match it with pink blusher.
