Recently launching their latest Spring Summer 2009 Collection at their boutique located at The Gardens, Massimo Dutti celebrated with a crowd of fashion lovers, media associates and celebrities. Emcee Bernie Chan led the way, steering attention towards the night’s highlight – the fashion show featuring Massimo Dutti’s Spring/Summer 09 collections.

The affordable luxury label’s personality shone through its women’s collection comprising of luxe, easy-to-wear separates. Slouchy pants, leather jackets with a distressed and washed treatment, a knitted crochet vest, ankle length trousers and jeans, as well as Massimo Dutti’s signature prints were among the items worthy of grabbing anyone’s attention. For the men, pieces were simple, masculine and can be paired effortlessly with just about any item in a man’s closet for night or day. Standout items include a reversible cotton jacket, chunky knit cardigans with varying details, linen jackets and dark washed, slim fit denim.

A flirty lace dress in a warm shade of mushroom brown is livened up with wedges and a chunky necklace, not to mention a scarf tied to a casual bag.

Peg pants is matched with a coral shirt done up halfway to reveal a white tee. Notice how the belt, bag and shoes match to pull the whole look together.

Shades of khaki and cream come together highlighted with a splash of blue underneath the jacket.

The ultimate casual boho look: a fringed bag with a paisley printed blouse and straight-legged jeans.

A smart casual look that’s great for a dinner date at a cosy restaurant, or you can even take him to meet your parents in this outfit!

Get everyone to notice your legs in this mini dress and jacket combo. The single turquoise pendant lights up the entire outfit and lengthens your upper body instantly.

A safari-style outfit of a chocolate brown vest and saddlebag matched with a pair of slim fit beige pants is given a touch of difference with a navy blouse under the vest.

All-brown is livened up with the addition of a pleather jacket.

The preppy work outfit is given some nonchalance (only when you’re out to lunch mind you!) with a cardigan casually draped over the shoulders.
