Earth Hour 2009 is coming up soon, this Saturday.We have written about what is Earth Hour and what can you do during earth hour on this post. Everyone’s switching off their lights, all the cool kids are doing it, are you? VOTE EARTH, switch off your lights!

EARTH HOUR @ KLPAC

KLPAC will be drumming under the stars during earth hour! This event is called the Drum Circle and anyone can join in the fun. Feel free to bring any objects from your home (empty pringles can, pepper shaker, jacobs tin?!) and start drumming with the crew!

MADNESS IN THE DARKNESS@ Lush Icon

fab’louz will be shutting down all their lights and electricty and only candles will be lit throughout the whole 60 minutes. You can visit Fab’louz and shop till you drop! There will be a sale for members 50% & Non-members 40% off all clothing, rest of the stuff are 30% off.

Walk of Hope

There will be a walk for charity during Earth Hour at Capsquare. From 830pm-930pm, walk around Capsquare to make your stand. Each participation entry is only RM10. You will get a Earth Hour Special T shirt and a limited edition Earth Hour shopping Bag specially designed by Melinda Looi.

The RM10 collected from the Walk of Hope will be donated to WWF.

You can also dine in all their F&B Outlets with candlelights and watch KL tower and surrounding buildings switch off their lights.

Also, in conjunction with the event, there will be:

• Fire Eating Show
• Brass band performance
• Acoustic performances
• Cheerleading performances
• Eco-Friendly Bazaar (read below)

There will be an Eco-friendly Bazaar also at Capsquare. The Bazaar will go on from morning at 8am till 10pm.
