Barbie Showing Off Her Clothes at NY Fashion Week

Ever girl probably played with Barbie once upon a time ago. She was a star and a fashion icon for all us tiny girls as we were growing up. We dressed her up and played pretend with her. Recently, Barbie just turned 50 and she was dressed  up in designer outfits at the Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week. Over 50 designers show their love for this fashion icon and made an outfit for her to be showcased in New York.

Designers include: Badgley Mischka, Vera Wang, Nanette Lepore, Nicole Miller, Marchesa, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Diane Von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson and many more.

There were all kinds of Barbie models strutting on the runway and they wore signature sexy peep toe stilettos designed by Christian Louboutin.

My favorite part of the show would be when Barbie came out with Ken, dressed by Kenneth Cole, wearing a T shirt that said “Everyone needs a Ken.”

    I saw this during the news. Kinda cool that kid’s toy has fashion show too.
