MAS  just brought back their most exciting event of the year, the annual Malaysia Airlines Travel Fair (MATF)! emmagem was told that there are loads of mad discounts of up to 70% off the prevailing market fares. This is a once-in-a-year event which will take place on the 10th to 19th February 2009 and apparently discounts like these don’t come often, and as we know it in Malaysia , tickets genuinely run out real fast, so if you’ve been holding out on that holiday you’ve been planning, now is truly the time  and  we always listen to the experts.

With this MATF , a trip to Seoul and Sydney could cost you, one way  RM770 and RM780 respectively. There are tons of route fares to check out, and we were told that  if you don’t quite know what to do and how to get about, you could always save yourself the hassle and employ the services of MASholidays, who is Malaysia Airlines’ travel arm. How’s that for service and that is really news to me. I so do not like to queue online, actually queue anywhere but never mind about me.

Also MAS  will  help you save while travelling to your dream destinations ( I mean , just in case you get a lot of flack  about travelling during recession,” wah you so rich etc , you can now say , yeah I really got a good deal…” , he!he!) . If you spend with MASholidays packages worth RM1,500 or more in Peninsular Malaysia, MAS will throw in a Caltex StarCard worth up to RM400 as well as a cash rebate of up to RM1,000 towards purchase of a 42” Samsung LCD TV! OMG! is that a good deal or what?

There are a lot of  things happening in conjunction with MATF, but the gist of it is that you’re looking at the potential of saving up to 70% on selected routes, so if I were you, I’d make that dream holiday I’ve been postponing happen.
