Question: Kimono with legging
By: yetmee
I am a kimono dress lover & I’m 165cm tall. question to ask u, if i want to wear the kimono with leggings, should i wear the long leggings or the knee-length one? thx fr ur time.

Hi Nur Atiqah, I think for kimono dresses, either length is okay.
For me if the kimono dress is :
1) if it is mid thigh length, I will suggest ankle length leggings or full leggings.
2) if it is knee length I would suggest mid calf or full length leggings.
And really either way there is no right or wrong. Long leggings just seem more formal and you can do an evening look with it whilst knee length I would do more for a casual and day look.
Considering your height is 165cm, which means you are pretty tall , you can still “steal” some height with mid calf ones and high heels or else full length ones with tone on tone booties or high heels . Mid calf gives the illusion of height because it looks like there is insufficient length whilst long ones gives impression of endlessness!
Hope this helps!

well its ok if you wanna pair them with a long kimono. but nefer efer pair them with the short kimono which obviously will make your leg looks like a camel toe. just sienna miller. yuckss. btw, its just an opinion. long kimono with long or mid size legging is ok and great.
